How Often Should a Car Undergo Oil Change?
In the days when conventional oil was the only choice, 3000 miles was the way to go. Now that we have fully synthetic engine oil available, which is more heat resistant, and keeps correct chemical and mechanical properties longer, we recommend oil change every 5000 miles if you are using 100% synthetic motor oil. If you don’t drive your vehicle that much, we still recommend engine oil change every 6 months, as passage of time also causes deterioration of the engine oil.
