I have been a customer of Alvin's Auto for about 30 yrs. First in Milpitas and now at their Willow Glen location. What I love about Alvin's is that I don't have to fear being taken advantage of. They have always been honest, straight forward and fair in their pricing. Over these many years, they have serviced my Toyota, Acura (4 models), Lexus and Mercedes. The Toyota and 2 Acuras were driven to almost 300K miles each. Lexus is around 300K now.

I just had my 2011 Hyundai Elantra serviced at Alvin's, and I am extremely happy with the process and the result. The appointment was made for the next day after first calling. Once in, the analysis was quick and detailed, and in a very understandable format (all digital too). I had a check engine light issue with a sensor replacement, TPMS replacement, and a bad steering coupler replacement. All were completed in roughly a day (one part came late), and the cost was a little more than what the dealer would have charged for the TPMS alone. The communication from the front desk to Tony's consultation and recommendations were all thorough and polite. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Superb customer service! Besides the oil change on my Mercedes ML-350, Alvin’s Auto provided me with a detailed diagnosis at no extra charge because of the check engine light. I now have a better idea of what needs to be done to keep my car running efficiently. I highly recommend their services.

Overall, I am delighted with the research and dedication to finding the needed parts for repairing my '96 Honda Accord LX! However, after the initial drop off to the shop and basis authorization, there seemed to be a break down in communication and the need to further approve the work order, which resulted in several days work delay. I am of the older generation, so was not aware of this being the next step in facilitating the needed research and work to begin. However, once that was corrected, Tony, seemed to go "above and beyond" in finding workable parts for a '96 Honda with original parts no longer available. For his excellent research and care I am MOST grateful! To date, nearly a week later, the "check engine" lite has not come on!!! Hopefully, my low milage, well maintained vehicle will continue to serve as reliable transportation for a little longer time. Thank you for your good service. I will recommend your shop to others looking for reliable Honda/Toyota service.

Alvin’s found and resolved a difficult electrical problem that often blocked my Infiniti from starting. In addition to the ignition repairs they provided a nice detailed inspection of other systems in need of repairs. They are friendly and easy to work with.
