Elite '2020 Elite '2020 My SO and I love Alvin's Auto!! Great auto body shop who know their stuff when it comes down to Toyota owned cars. We brought in our '06 Prius for an electrical problem with the signal light and electrical water pump. Of course, we brought in the car at Toyota Stevens Creek for a price quote which was way over our budget, plus they weren't as knowledgeable compared to Alvin's. Anthony, who helped us at the time, he was well rounded on Toyota cars and carefully inspected the car by showing us what were the problems and what should be done as opposed to Toyota Stevens Creek who didn't show us anything but a printed paper of things to get fixed. Alvin and the staff were friendly, honest and didn't pressure us into anything. After much consideration, we decided to get our car fixed here! Not only were they helpful, but they provide legitimate Toyota parts and not generic brands that will ruin your car! We're definitely coming here from now on for service and maintenance! Well priced and efficient!

Tony and the guys at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen are knowledgeable, straight forward and friendly as well. They don't send you to Disneyland with Mickey Mouse hack jobs, they definitely won't try to BS you if you aren't in the know, and they don't take shortcuts to do you like slam, bam, thank you maam. On top of the quality work these guys put out, they stay on top of your maintenance to minimize the probability of future unexpected auto problems that could be costly. Did I mention they also try to save you money on the bill if possible. I brought in my wife's 2001 Toyota Solara SLE V6 in for a Check Engine Light. Tony was on the scanner quickly and told me everything I needed to know about the code. Turns out I had a misfire code and one of the Direct Ignition Coils could possibly be the culprit. Tony told me he would do some more diagnosing and that the turn around time could possibly be 1-2 days depending on how many other cars need service. Tony called me the next day with an update and told me he was able to get to my car and that it was definitely a coil problem. He also let me know that he could get the part in ASAP and finish the repair and have it ready in a few hours. Now that's quick service. When I arrived to pick up the car, Tony and I went over the repair invoice and he brought to my attention that the quoted labor time ended up being less than actually needed for the repair and charged me less. What a guy....he could've easily got over on me but he kept it real. Man, he even replaced a taillight bulb that was out, at no cost!! It's rare that you get a such good hearted mechanic like that on the first visit. Trust me I've heard countless stories of dirty rotten lying hack job mechanics who are just out there to scam on you for the quick dollar. I too have also had my share of being had. It's good to know there are still some honest wrenches out there who thrive on repeat customers, who understand that taking care of a customer and going the extra mile can go a long way, and by putting out nothing but solid, quality service. All the positive comments everyone else has written about this place are true. I know absolutely nothing about cars and I'm very paranoid about getting ripped off. They were really nice and very honest with pricing.

Honest friendly and wont dick you around with phony "you need this you need that " BS. I will definitely recommend to family and friends these guys are the real deal. Great service and especially with Tony ....great job guys! See you on my next service .....Vick

I came with a "check engine" light turned on. They wrote the err # and turned it back off and then sent me home saying that it's nothing and that I should come back if it happens again. And most important: THEY DIDN'T CHARGE A DIME! I'm definitely coming back!!!

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 I've been going to Alvin's for years and he has never done me wrong. First he took care of my Honda Civic, now my Toyota Rav4. I had my Civic for 12 years and my Rav going on 10. Every time anything goes wrong, my first call is to Alvin's. They're honest and straightforward about what needs to get done and why. I have never ever felt like I was being ripped off or being sold something I didn't need. There are times when money has been tight and they will tell you what needs to get done now and what can get postponed for a later time. If you're not satisfied or something isn't working properly after they've worked on it, they will fix it free of charge, no questions asked. They also work quickly so that you're not without a car for very long. I highly recommend Alvin, Jay and the team at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen.

I would not trust my car with anyone else. Alvin and his team are legit, very good customer service.When it comes to cars I always try to find people that wont take advantage of the nieve consumer. I have found here. They will always give honest advice on what you have to do and what you should do. Pricing is very reasonable. I have done everything from Oil changes to tune ups and major break downs, i have always left the shop feeling that I was taken care of. I would recommend that everyone take their car here.

I love my fellow filipinos. This place is amazing. My uncle who used to be my mechanic worked here. I knew about this place because of him. My Honda civic ex 2002 overheated one day and after putting radiator fluid, my car was running funny. Everytime it got to 3rd gear it would start jerking like it didn't have enough power. This happened every time I put the pedal to the medal. After a while, I was unsure why this kept happening. All of a sudden my car overheated again and I brought it to this place. Everyone was super nice. I got assistance immediately. I told him my problem and he showed me that there were bubbles going through my radiator. They told me my gasket was warped and had to he shaved down. I was worried at first because I wasn't sure if they would fix the whole problem of the car. But it did. My car runs better than ever and they sure know what they are doing!!

Very honest auto shop. Services are done by the owner and his nephew and other certified staff members. Parts are all genuine auto parts from the make of your car. I had my car repaired here a number of times and I was very pleased every time. These are one of those shops that you cant judge "the book by its cover".

WHOA!!! Just went there and talked to Jay, I expected to pay $60-80 to change my tail lights, which I got a fix it ticket for and switch out 2 tires. Grand total was just under $40!!! I will go back!!! Jay is AWESOME!!! Thanks again guys!!!
